Klima Optima Industrial Dehumidifiers

Corrosion is active when the relative humidity is at 60%. Since electronic circuit boards function with relatively low voltage, even minor corrosion can increase the equipment's electric resistance, resulting in operational glitches and product failures.

Humidity condenses on electronics, especially when temperatures drop or rise suddenly, causing electronic short circuits and corrosion.

If humidity is not monitored at the storage or production point in a timely manner, electronics might fail at the end user level, resulting in product failure, a negative brand experience, and expensive replacement and repair costs. According to physics, corrosion is impossible to occur if humidity is kept at or below 45 % and the air quality is good.

Klima Optima dehumidifiers have been utilized in storage and manufacturing areas to improve the dependability of electronic components and safeguard sensitive electronics from excessive and changing humidity levels. Our industrial dehumidifiers keep humidity levels optimal and consistent while preventing corrosion, condensation, and electronic circuit failures.

Klima Optima dehumidifiers are a portable and durable solution that has shown to be an ideal solution for maintaining a controlled humidity environment to safeguard electronics from moisture damage.

Controlling and regulating air humidity in electronics and high-tech manufacturing environments effectively reduces potential electrostatic discharges (ESD), which are likely to happen in dry spaces (less than 45% relative humidity). A relative air humidity level of 55% is generally advised in production facilities to avoid any damage to sensitive material and disrupting the manufacturing processes.

Increased indoor humidity acts as a natural protector, absorbing electric charges and enabling fast and permanent discharge. To reduce the warm indoor temperatures created by electronic manufacturing and produced by the run of operational equipment, the use of adiabatic humidification systems is recommended. The units can indeed achieve advanced, environmentally-friendly air cooling. Adiabatic systems help stabilize and maintain existing heat, achieving an optimum indoor climate, while significantly reducing the overall operational costs.

Humidification is a very effective way to eliminate the build-up of static electricity in manufacturing environments. Static build-up in manufacturing environments often causes a reduction in productivity, a drop in product quality, safety issues with uncontrolled sparks, and physical damage to equipment, especially electronics and PCBs.In order for friction to produce a static charge the air must be below 45%RH. Between 45-55%RH static will still build-up but at a reduced level as it leaks to the ground through the moisture content of the air. Keeping the air above 55%RH ensures static never builds up.

With Klima Optima, we can provide various humidity management solutions such as our industrial humidifiers to help preserve the condition of your equipment and ensure the quality of your goods by avoiding static build-up in the air.
